Nike Football T-shirt Designs

Back in October 2009 I was commissioned by Nike for a series of t-shirt designs for Nike Football line. I was asked to come up with three hand-drawn illustrations based on soccer teams’ own visual elements and my lettering/custom decorative type. The teams were Manchester United, Juventus & Corinthians Paulista.

I was waiting to post those up for a long time and finally — today is the day! Read full post for the designs and some sketches.

For Corinthians design I was also asked to render this eagle’s clutch below:

Working with Nike was a really useful experience. I never sketched so many variants of different ideas/concepts before — I had hundreds of paper sheets filled with all sorts of drawings lying literally all around my room for like 3 or 4 weeks.

I scanned pre-ink sketches of the first two designs and some of the most interesting concepts for ya’ll sketch & type lovers out there! Check it:

I’m glad to present one of the best (art-wise) collaborations of this year so far — the series of hand-drawn graphics for t-shirt mini-line called “Pursue Your Passions.”

Concept & ideas: Roby Fitzhenry & Maxwell Lord.
T-shirts were scheduled for August 2010 drop but delayed because Desired Hearts HQ moved to Houston, TX earlier this year. The line will be available anytime soon, keep your eyes on desiredhearts.com and my blog!

86era × Osiris shoes T-shirt design

I had an opportunity to work with the Osiris shoes brand this year. I was asked to bring the “Osiris” lettering and corporate logo in the same decorated style. Here’s the result (sketches in pen and pencil are inside the post):
